For months since after I encountered for the first time the word "bokeh", I have had trouble understanding its meaning and penetrating the concept of it.* But this week, it has started to sink in and today I looked it up.
So, here's the definition of the day:

Definition: a Japanese term for the subjective aesthetic quality of out-of-focus areas of a photographic image
Example: The bokeh, or quality of the blurred image in the photograph, was described and discussed.
*I know, it is very simple in fact! But I can be stubbornly slow and picky when it comes to learning new things or facts.
