// Threadless
... is a website that prints, sells and ships t-shirts. What’s new about that ? Well, what’s new and fun is YOU submit your own designs, and if it gets picked up for print, THREADLESS will pay you $2500, plus $500 for every reprint.
If you’re a designer with some potentially great designs sitting around in your drawers, submit some, this is like free money!

// society6
Just stumbled upon society6, which is currently being a delight to browse. It’s a community driven website for artists – illustrators, photographers, designers, ect. – to showcase their work and get noticed. They, as well as lovers of art, can follow each other’s work and provide feedback. There’s also a system of grants, thanks to sponsors, that artists can apply to, and win, if you choose to promote their artworks. Simply spiffy!
// four Yip
By the dutch artist known in Second Life as four Yip, these collages are an interesting example of mixed media, using snapshots taken in a 3D virtual world as a basis, upon which are blended scanned parts of her own drawings, paintings or photographs.
